The roots of UTIT date back to 1953, the year the production of material handling equipment began. In a context of strong industrial development, the company grew by supporting highly diverse sectors, including food, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, paper, textiles, metallurgy, and many others.
As early as the 1960s, UTIT crossed national borders, consolidating its presence in international markets. The company progressively expanded its scope, becoming a global point of reference for palletizing systems and end-of-line solutions. Key milestones in this journey include:
- 1985: The Textile Division was established. It was a pioneer in Europe in designing complete automatic connection systems between various process machines, integrating production, transport, conditioning, palletizing, and storage.
- The 90s: Entry into the field of automated logistics and picking systems, anticipating the needs of modern warehouses and distribution centers.
Integration with Trascar
Since 2013, UTIT has officially been part of Trascar S.p.A.. This union has created an even more solid structure that blends over seventy years of know-how in industrial handling automation with a complete and modern vision of automated logistics.
